Mission Statement  At TaMiya's Dance Company, our aim is to ignite self-confidence, instill discipline, and foster physical well-being through the transformative medium of dance education. We strive to cultivate a welcoming environment where individuals of all backgrounds can freely express themselves, pursue their aspirations, and find joy in the art of movement. Our mission extends beyond the dance floor; we are dedicated to advancing the arts while offering vital education to address and raise awareness about childhood obesity, mental health, and overall physical wellness.  

Our current initiatives include: 

Rent and Facility Maintenance: Your generous donation will help us update our space for our dance studio, ensuring a stable environment for our students to thrive.  

Equipment and Mats: We aim to enhance the safety and quality of our classes by investing in proper dance mats and equipment, creating an enriching experience for our participants.  

Instructor Compensation: To maintain the excellence of our programs, we need to compensate our dedicated instructors fairly. Your support will enable us to retain talented teachers and provide consistent, high-quality instruction.  

Free First Aid and AED Classes: We are passionate about promoting health and safety among youth. With your assistance, we can offer essential first aid and AED training free of charge to young individuals, equipping them with life-saving skills.  

Scholarships for Underprivileged Children: TaMiya's Dance Company is committed to inclusivity. Your donation will help us provide scholarships to children in need, opening doors to dance education and personal development that might otherwise remain closed.  

Free Classes for Teen Moms: We understand the unique challenges faced by teen mothers. By offering free dance classes, we aim to provide a supportive community and a positive outlet for these young mothers to build confidence and resilience.
